The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is a global, CEO-led organization comprising over 200 leading businesses working collectively to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world. Established in 1995 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, WBCSD serves as a platform for businesses to address pressing sustainability challenges, aiming to create a world where more than 9 billion people can live well within the planet's boundaries by 2050.
